Autoscaling Groups

The Resource Pool for autoscaling groups lets you specify what the desired, min, and max values are for the resource pool when the period is active.

Desired

The target number of instances the autoscaling group should have active.

Max

The maximum number of instances the autoscaling group should have active. When scaling policies are attached to the ASG the policy cannot increase the desired count above this number.

Min

The minimum number of instances the autoscaling group should have active. When scaling policies are attached to the ASG the policy cannot reduce the desired count below this number.
